LAMDA exams

For young actors ages 10-16

LAMDA is one of the UK’s oldest and most respected performing art awarding organisations. Their qualifications have helped hundreds of thousands of candidates of all ages and abilities to develop lifelong skills.

Each week we will teach core performance techniques through text, scripts and poetry. These classes are fun and creative and a brilliant way to improve public speaking, script analysis and confidence!

Students will normally take one or two graded examinations per year, when they feel ready and prepared to take the exam.  All LAMDA examinations and qualifications are rooted in encouraging students of all ages to develop a love of literature, poetry and drama and thus improve standards of communication

Once the children reach Grade 6, they earn UCAS points which can help students bump up their A level scores when applying for University.

Classes running at Kingswood Arts and are currently scheduled for:

Thursday  5.00 - 6.00

Ages 9-14

All our students have so far passed with merit or distinction!
