Classes run Saturdays 10.00 - 1.00
SING
Children learn more advanced singing technique and are encouraged to sing in small groups and on their own. They are introduced to different styles of music, including Musical Theatre and Pop. We continue to work on technique including articulation, breathing and support. Children can choose songs that they would like to learn, and these are performed at the end of term.
SINGING 10.00 - 11.00
DANCE
Children take part in a mix of Jazz and Street Dance. The children are challenged further in their dance learning and are given much more independence. The classes have a greater focus on technique, self-expression, stamina and performance. Correct dance shoes should be worn; jazz or ballet shoes
DANCE 11.00 - 12.00
ACT
Children are challenged further in their improvisation skills, as well as focusing on technique to improve speech and movement. Scripts are introduced and the children are encouraged to create their own characters using exercises such as Hot Seating. Children work towards an end of term performance which helps to improve their performance skills and confidence.
